加巴喷丁（拉丁语：Gabapentin），研发厂商品名为Neurontin，用于治疗癫痫、神经痛、潮热以及睡眠脚动症^[4]^[5]。这种药物一般用于治疗局部癫痫（英语：partial seizures），^[6]加巴喷丁也是治疗糖尿病神经炎（英语：diabetic neuropathy）、疱疹后的剧痛（英语：post-herpetic neuralgia）、以及central neuropathic pain（英语：central neuropathic pain）等疾病的神经性病痛的首选^[6]，约14%神经性病变疼痛的患者可获得改善^[7]。

副作用包含嗜睡和晕眩。严重副作用可能包括提高自杀风险、躁动行为及嗜酸粒细胞增多以及全身性症状（英语：drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms）^[4]。对妊娠或母乳喂养的危害尚不明确^[8]。肾功能衰竭患者应使用较低剂量。加巴喷丁会对抑制性的神经传递物Γ-氨基丁酸（GABA）有所影响，但作用方式尚无定论^[4]。

加巴喷丁在1993年首次通过美国食品药品监督管理局批准^[9]^[10]。批价约在每日1.35美元^[11]。在美国，此药从2004年开始可以通用名药物方式取得^[4]，2015年，在美国一个月的药物成本在100到200美金间^[12]。1990年代，派德药厂（英语：Parke-Davis）（辉瑞子公司）透过一系列手法鼓励美国的医生在非常规情况使用（英语：off-label use）加巴喷丁^[13]。
