常见的副作用包括嗜睡、虚弱和头晕。^[6]如果迅速停用巴氯芬，可能会出现严重的副作用，包括癫痫发作和横纹肌溶解症。^[6]在怀孕期间使用尚不清楚安全性，而在母乳喂养期间使用可能是安全的。^[8]它被认为通过降低某些神经递质的水平起作用。^[6]
