理查逊数

理查逊数(Richardson number,缩写Ri),是一个无因次量,理查逊数代表浮力惯性力效应之比,理查逊数愈大,浮力的影响愈重要。大气、海洋、湖泊等流场会因为温度密度分布的不均匀而有密度差异,在重力方向上有密度分层(Stratification)的现象,而理查逊数便可用来评估密度分层的强弱,或浮力对流场的影响。

其中 g重力加速度h 为垂直长度,u 为速度,ρ 为密度,Δρ 为密度差异。

理查逊数大于0.25为稳定;小于0.25则表示速度增进乱流(又可称作紊流、扰流)状态。[1]
