斯坦顿数

斯坦顿数(Stanton number)简称St,是描述流体热传量和本身热容量比例的无因次量。斯坦顿数得名自Thomas Edward Stanton (1865–1931)[1]。斯坦顿数可用来描述强制对流下的传热特性。

斯坦顿数常用来考虑动量边界层及热边界层的相似性时出现[3],可以用来表示管壁剪力(因为黏度造成)以及管壁总热传(因为热扩散率造成)之间的关系。

质传

利用热传及质传类似的特性,也可以用舍伍德数施密特数取代努塞尔数和普朗特数,得到质传的等效斯坦顿数[4]

边界层流

斯坦顿数可以用来量测平板表面附近因为热传造成,边界层热能增加或是减少的速率。若焓厚度(enthalpy thickness)定义为[5]

则斯坦顿数可以等效如下式[6]

上式是针对平板的边界层流,且平板的温度及特性都是相同的。

Reynolds-Colburn类比的相关性

利用有关有粘性次层流及thermal log紊流模型的Reynolds-Colburn类比特性,可以得到以下紊流热传的公式[7]
