维费里希素数

素数,则称为维费里希素数(Wieferich prime)。它最先在1909年阿图尔·维费里希(Arthur Wieferich)有关费马大定理的作品描述。

1909年,维费里希证明:整数同时素数使得,并且,那么就是维费里希素数。

1910年Mirimanoff扩展这个定理,证明了若符合上面的条件,

梅森数素因数是维费里希素数当且仅当,显然,梅森素数不可能是维费里希素数。

寻找

现时已知的维费里希素数只有1093和3511(OEIS:A001220),由W. Meissner在1913年和N. G. W. H. Beeger在1922年各自发现。若有更大的存在,它必须大于 [1][永久失效链接]。虽然1988年J. H. Silverman证明若abc猜想成立,对于任何正整数,存在无限个素数使得;但“维费里希素数的数量有限”这个猜想仍未证实。
