渐缩比

渐缩比(常用符号λ)为航天工程名词,表示飞行器机翼之翼尖(wing tip,ct)与翼根(wing root,cr)长度之比值(λ≡ct/cr)。

椭圆翼有着较少的附加阻力[1],在1930年代时,二战的飞机常常采用椭圆翼。由于椭圆翼制作成本高昂,因此现代飞行器皆改采用由平直翼修改成,有渐缩比的机翼。有渐缩比的机翼,在减少附加阻力的效果上与椭圆翼相当,制作又比较简单。一般机翼的附加阻力在机翼的渐缩比为0.3左右时最小。[2]
