特徵
[编辑]- 其圓唇度為不圓唇元音，嘴唇自然放鬆，不特別向前突起。
該音出現於
[编辑]許多語言都擁有不同形式的此元音。對於只有一個開（低）元音的語，通常會使用⟨a⟩這個元音符號，因為這個符號是基本拉丁字母中唯一的低元音。
