韦格尔陨石坑（Weigel）是位于月球正面西南部的一座小撞击坑，其名称取自德国数学家、天文学家暨哲学家埃哈德·魏格尔（Erhard Weigel，1625年-1699年），1935年被国际天文学联合会正式接受。
描述
[编辑]该陨坑位于席勒-祖基盆地内东南部，西侧毗邻塞格纳环形山、北面坐落了绵长的席勒环形山、略大的罗斯特陨石坑位于它的东北，它的东南和西南分别坐落了古老的沙伊纳环形山和贝蒂尼环形山[1]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为58°23′S 39°20′W / 58.39°S 39.34°W，直径34.85公里[2]，深约2.103公里[3]。
韦格尔陨石坑坑壁略显磨损，北侧坑沿上横跨了一座小撞击坑，东侧坑壁上嵌入了卫星坑韦格尔 A和另一座更小的陨坑，而它的西南外壁则连接了较它更大的韦格尔 B，该卫星坑的北侧和西侧边缘上也覆盖了多座小撞击坑。韦格尔陨石坑内壁只有少数区域粗糙不齐，大部分坡面平整延伸至坑底，它的坑壁最大高出周边地形970米[3]，内部容积约有869.09立方千米[3]，坑内底表较为平坦，没有其它醒目的地貌结构。
