斯滕菲尔德环形山（Sternfeld）是位于月球背面南半部的一座古老大撞击坑，约形成于45.5-39.2亿年前的前酒海纪[1]，其名称取自前苏联航天科学家阿里·阿布拉莫维奇·施特恩费尔德（1905年-1980年），1991年被国际天文学联合会批准接受[2]。
描述
[编辑]该陨坑西侧及西北偏西分别毗邻较小的沃尔辛环形山和洛德金环形山、东北偏北坐落了更大的帕申环形山，更小的村上陨石坑则位于它的南面[3]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为19°45′S 142°16′W / 19.75°S 142.27°W，直径109.80公里[4]，深度约2.88公里[1]。
斯滕菲尔德环形山已被后续的撞击严重侵蚀和磨损，其坑壁因覆盖了各式形状不一的小陨坑而变得千疮百孔，西北侧切入了卫星坑洛德金 F，沿北侧和坑底也覆盖有一系列更小的撞击坑。该环形山残壁最大高出周边地形1540米[1]，内部容积约12313立方千米[1]。坑内地表除南部稍平坦外，其余地区崎岖坎坷。
