恰普雷金环形山（Chaplygin）是月球背面赤道区附近一座古老的大撞击坑，约形成于酒海纪[1]，其名称取自苏联数学家及机械工程师谢尔盖·阿列克谢耶维奇·恰普雷金（1869年-1942年），1970年被国际天文学联合会批准接受。

该陨坑位于巨大的环壁平原-门捷列夫环形山东南，东北和西南分别毗邻谢里曼环形山和马可尼环形山。恰普雷金环形山大小类似于月球正面的阿尔巴塔尼环形山，其中心月面坐标为5°46′N 150°14′W / 5.76°N 150.24°W，直径123.39公里[2]。 深度2.918公里[3]。
该环形山轮廓外观大致呈圆形，但各边缘并不均匀。环内侧坡大部为阶地状地貌，但该结构在南侧被打乱。整体边缘只受到所环绕撞击坑的轻度侵蚀，只有东南侧切入了卫星坑恰普雷金 K；陨坑壁高出周边地形1610米，内部容积约16122.55立方千米[1]。坑内地表较周边崎岖的地形更平坦，但没有熔岩和射纹系统，中心点附近坐落着一座中央峰，四周散布着一些细小的月坑。
