卡林顿陨石坑（Carrington）是位于月球正面东北部的一座大撞击坑，其名称取自英国天文学家理查德·克里斯多福·卡林顿（1826年-1875年），1935年被国际天文学联合会批准接受。

该陨坑坐落在西北的时令湖和东面更小的幸福湖之间狭长的崎岖地带上，它东南靠近舒马赫环形山、西侧和东北分别毗邻谢瓦利尔环形山和墨丘利环形山，外观扭曲的芝诺环形山位于它的东面、而西南偏南则坐落了沙克伯勒陨石坑和胡克陨石坑[1]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为43°58′N 62°02′E / 43.97°N 62.04°E，直径27.77公里[2]，深约1.963公里[3]。由于它所处的位置，其外观因透视作用而略呈卵状，而它的后面，越过月球边沿，则坐落了辽阔的洪堡海。
卡林顿陨石坑已明显磨损，其北端边缘略微外凸，整体外观形似泪珠状。它的坑壁其最大高出周边地形890米[3]，内部容积约为514.32立方千米[3]，坑底表面较为平坦，除散布有一些细小的陨坑外，没有其它醒目的地貌结构。
