高堂生

高堂生

高堂生（？—？），复姓高堂，字伯，鲁（治今山东曲阜）人，西汉经学家，曾传出“今文经”《仪礼》十七篇。他也是曹魏著名谏臣高堂隆的祖先。^[1]

生平

春秋齐卿高傒之后，因高傒封邑于“高堂”，故姓高堂。

秦始皇焚书后，《仪礼》失传。高堂生曾背诵出《仪礼》十六到十八篇^[2]，又以《礼书》十七篇授瑕邱萧奋^[3]，使得《仪礼》在秦始皇之后还能留传后世^[4]。

唐代，高堂生配享孔子庙。宋代，被追封为莱芜伯。今墓在新泰龙廷^[5]。
