场星系
场星系（Field galaxy）是不属于任何一个更大的星系群的星系，因此它的引力是单独的。
所有的星系中，与银河系的距离在5 Mpc（16 Mly）范围内的，大约80%的星系都属于同一个星系集团[1]。大多数低表面亮度星系都是场星系[2]。场星系在哈伯类型的中位数是Sb，是螺旋星系的一种。
