室女座W型变星
室女座W型变星（W Virginis variable）是第二型造父变星的一个子类，它是脉动周期在10至20天的第二星族星 [1]，并且光谱型介于F6至K2之间[2]。
它们在1942年首度被沃尔特·巴德从传统的造父变星中区分出来，他研究仙女座星系中的造父变星，认为并建议造父变星有两种不同的类型[3]。
