猎犬座α²型变星
猎犬座α2型变星是变星的一种类型。这些恒星或学成分特殊的主序星，光谱类型为B8p至A7p。它们具很强的磁场和强硅、锶、或铬的谱线。其亮度通常在0.5到160天内变化0.01至0.1星等[1]。
除了光的强度之外，猎犬座α2型变星的谱线强度和轮廓也会改变，连磁场也会变化。这些变化的周期都是相同的，被认为是恒星的自转周期。一般认为是因为这修恒星的大气层中的金属分布不均匀造成的，因此恒星表面各处的亮度因点而异[2]。
这类变星的命名是依据北天星座猎犬座的联星常陈一中的一颗恒星（猎犬座α2）命名。它的亮度以5.47天的周期波动0.14星等[3]。
