墨西哥灰熊，又名墨西哥棕熊，是一群灭绝的棕熊种群，过去被归类为一独立的亚种（学名：Ursus arctos nelsoni），但现在被认为是灰熊（U. a. horribilis）的一个种群。
特征
墨西哥灰熊是墨西哥最重及最大的哺乳动物之一。牠们长1.83米及重318公斤。由于其银色的毛皮，故当地人称牠们为“银熊”。[1]
分布及栖息地

灭绝
由于墨西哥灰熊猎食农民的家畜，故被捕杀及毒杀，到了1930年代就已经很稀少。牠们的分布地减少至奇瓦瓦州以北三个独立的山上。到了1960年，牠们就只余下30只。虽然受到保护，但仍受到猎杀的危害。到了1964年，牠们被认为已经灭绝。
