熊型下目（学名：Arctoidea）是一类包括已灭绝及现存的肉食性哺乳动物。其下包括了已灭绝的半狗科、Nothocyon属、现存的鼬科、熊科。（鳍足类动物也有被分类于此，但也被分类为鳍足目或鳍足亚目。）牠们分布在世界各大洲，最早可以追溯至4600万年前的始新世。[2]
