清净道论

《清净道论》（巴利语：Visuddhimagga），共三卷，五世纪印度僧人觉音所著，为上座部佛教中分别说部赤铜鍱系大寺派之重要论著，在南传佛教有崇高之地位，有“修行者的百科全书”之誉。地位等同于说一切有部的《大毗婆沙论》。
本书对修行的前期准备工作、修习技巧、及每个阶段都有明确的阐释（见七清净、十六观智）。这本书的体裁与无畏山寺派的《解脱道论》相近，但对它的见解多所评破。《清净道论》的重要注释为法护的《清净道论大疏钞》（Visuddhimaggamahātīkā）。
翻译
了参法师（叶均）在1953年至1956年间，跟随般若难陀长老专研《清净道论》，边学边译，学完此论，也完成了初译。1957年返回中国大陆，将尚未修改的译稿油印，但因火灾连同原稿烧毁殆尽。在1978年找回一部幸存的油印本，据此从事校对整理和修改，于1980年完稿[1]。1986年，其中文译本在台湾由华宇出版社出版[2]。中华佛敎百科文献基金会亦于1991年出版。
