弱角龙科（Bagaceratopidae）是角龙亚目新角龙类的一科，是由Vladimir Alifanov在2003年建立，当时包含弱角龙、矮脚角龙、喇嘛角龙、扁角龙，但Alifanov并没有做出定义与范围[1]。在2005年，保罗·赛里诺（Paul Sereno）认为Alifanov没有做出定义与范围，因此将弱角龙科列为无效的分类单元[2]。在2008年，Alifanov把巨嘴龙、新命名的戈壁角龙加进弱角龙科。Alifanov同时提出，弱角龙科起源自亚洲，不同于其他新角龙类的科[3]。
弱角龙科生存于白垩纪晚期，约8580万到7060万年前[4]。
