尖角龙亚科（Centrosaurinae）是角龙科的一个亚科，由古生物学家劳伦斯·赖博（Lawrence Lambe）在1915年所命名，模式属是尖角龙。尖角龙亚科可分为两个族：尖角龙族、厚鼻龙族[1]。
繁衍
[编辑]在2001年的科学文献中，曾纪录过可能属于尖角龙亚科的未孵化胎儿化石[2]。研究人员推论，尖角龙亚科的成年个体的特征、性征完全发展后，本身才会成长接近至完全成年[2]。化石的大小、骨化程度、愈合程度、以及骨头的结构，可以用来推测化石的个体年龄[2]。研究人员计算尖角龙亚科的性征发展速率，并发现现代动物中，依照年龄大小而分群体阶级的动物，也有类似的性征发展速率[2]。在这类现代动物之中，年轻雄性的性征完全发展后数年，才会实际进行繁衍、交配[2]。另一方面，雌性个体则没有这种现象[2]
