大熊座65(65 UMa)是在大熊座这个星座内的一个恒星系统。它的视星等为6.5等[2],这是人类视力极限,因此肉眼几乎看不见。由依巴谷卫星进行的三角视差测量,得到它的距离约为690光年(210秒差距[1];这与力学视差的值 763正负95光年(234正负29秒差距)是一致的[5]

大熊座65是一个六合星系统。这六颗星在层次轨道上,每颗恒星的轨道都绕着系统的中心。这样的系统非常罕见,只有少数的六合星已经被观测到[5]。更多的多星系统更为难见,因为它们比简单的恒星系统更不稳定,并且经常摔变成更小的系统。

大熊座65系统的轨道层次

在中心的一对恒星都是A型主序星。它们是相对明亮的白色恒星,质量通常介于1.6 M至2.4 M之间[9]。大熊座65 Aa1和Aa2都是相对而言质量较低的A型主序星,光谱类型都是A7V[5]。这两颗星在轨道运行时会定期的从对方前面经过,因此它们是一对食联星,并有变星名称,大熊座DN 。所以,这个系统的视星等在6.6和6.7等之间变动着[10],它的轨道周期为1.73日[5]

这一对食联星大熊座65 Aa,被另一颗恒星大熊座65Ab环绕着。这是一对光谱联星:虽然不能以分辨率来解析,但它们光谱中有着周期性的多普勒频移,表明一定有轨道运动。这一对光谱联星的轨道周期为641天(1.76年),离心率为0.169[5]

大熊座65B每118年绕行前述这三颗恒星一次。它与三重星相隔0.18",并且计算得到一个天体量测轨道。大熊座65 C和D有着共同的自行,与系统中心恒星的距离分别是4"和63"[5]。大熊座65 D似乎也是一颗特殊恒星,它的的量比正常值高[11]。由于其异常的组成,要确定其恒星参数是困难的:这颗恒星的有效温度可能是9,300或9,500K,恒星的半径和表面重力取决于有效温度。
