Yang Chen-Ning
Yang Chen-Ning atau Yang Zhenning (lahir 1 Oktober,[1] 1922) ialah ahli fizik teori Cina yang membuat sumbangan besar kepada mekanik statistik, teori tolok, dan kedua-dua fizik zarah dan fizik perkara pekat. Beliau dan Tsung-dao Lee menerima Hadiah Nobel dalam Fizik 1957[2] untuk kerja-kerja mereka dalam pemeliharaan pariti interaksi lemah. Kedua-duanya mencadangkan bahawa salah satu undang-undang mekanik kuantum asas, pemeliharaan pariti, dilanggar dalam apa yang disebut reaksi nuklear yang lemah, proses nuklear yang mengakibatkan pelepasan zarah beta atau alpha. Yang paling penting dalam kerja Yang ialah teori Yang-Mills.
