Anton Zeilinger
Anton Zeilinger (bahasa Jerman: [ˈtsaɪlɪŋɐ]; lahir 20 Mei 1945) ialah seorang ahli fizik kuantum Austria dan pemenang Nobel dalam fizik 2022.[1] Zeilinger ialah profesor emeritus fizik di Universiti Vienna dan saintis kanan di Institut Optik Kuantum dan Maklumat Kuantum Akademi Sains Austria.[2] Kebanyakan penyelidikannya melibatkan aspek asas dan aplikasi jalinan kuantum.
Pada tahun 2007, Zeilinger menerima Pingat Isaac Newton sulung dari Institut Fizik, London untuk "sumbangan konseptual dan eksperimen perintisnya kepada asas fizik kuantum, yang telah menjadi asas kepada bidang maklumat kuantum yang berkembang pesat."[3][2] Pada Oktober 2022, beliau menerima Hadiah Nobel dalam Fizik, bersama-sama dengan Alain Aspect dan John Clauser untuk hasil kerja cemerlang mereka yang melibatkan eksperimen dengan foton terjerat, mewujudkan pelanggaran ketidaksamaan Bell dan merintis sains maklumat kuantum.[4]
