NGC 6559是一个距离地球约5000光年的恒星形成区域，在天球上位于人马座。在NGC 6559的可见光影像中可见到氢原子释放的H-α造成的红色发射星云和反射年轻恒星光线的蓝色反射星云区域，以及吸收光线的尘埃区。
NGC 6559于1826年7月1日由天文学家约翰·赫歇尔发现。
