黄埔自动轻便运输系统(英语:Whampoa Automated People Mover System),简称红磡轻铁[来源请求],是九广铁路公司计划作为辅助沙田至中环线、服务香港九龙黄埔区域乘客的轻轨铁路系统,铁路类似新界西北部的轻铁系统。路线全长1.6公里,中途设有三个车站,分别为红磡站(现港铁红磡站之东北方)、黄埔站(现观塘线黄埔站以西)和黄埔北站(红磡道和民裕街交界)。

路线

九铁原来的沙田至中环线标书中,当初定线方案也有包括在黄埔花园设站,但因铁路要途经多个弯位,九铁认为不适合绕经该区,于是提出与地铁公司不一样的计划。系统以红磡站东北角为起点,以高架桥沿畅通道行走,再沿红磡南道行走,进入红磡道地下隧道,然后返回地面,以红磡道以西(红磡花园)作终点[1]

整个计划最终因两铁合并而被搁置,由地铁(港铁)公司的观塘线延线取代,此亦是唯一一条被搁置的九广铁路公司铁路路线。

车站

黄埔北站的位置最终建成红磡邨第二期。至于系统规划的黄埔站与观塘线延线的总站黄埔站十分接近。
