阿拉伯字母表达形式-B是一个收录阿拉伯语上下文字母形式及变音符号的Unicode区段，而特别字符零宽不换行空格（ZWNBSP）亦收录于此区段，用作字节顺序记号。该区段于Unicode 1.0版本被称作“阿拉伯语基础字符”（Basic Glyphs for Arabic Language）[4]，而当中的字元于Unicode 1.0.1版本中，因需与ISO 10646合并而重新编排。[3]
这些表达形式字元只用以兼容较旧的标准，而现时亦不需将之用作字元编码。[5]
