赵怀玉 (明朝)
生平
赵怀玉是万历四十三年（1615年）福建乡试第十七名举人[2]，天启二年（1622年）壬戌科会试三百九十五名，三甲一百四十名进士，刑部观政，获授肇庆推官，平反谷商的冤狱、豁免赃钱数千，保全多人。当时香山被倭寇占据，他挑选精兵冒险前进，倭寇因此撤垒投降。天启四年本省同考，六年丁忧，崇祯元年起补彰德府推官，三年陕西同考，四年考选，擢官四川道监察御史，巡视东城，正直敢言，在任内去世。他个性平易近人，经常揭示良知给学生，著有《证孝说元》、《折狱衷词》等书[1]。
