尤卡坦玛雅语，又称为尤卡坦语，是尤卡坦半岛上玛雅人的语言，同时也使用于伯利兹北部及危地马拉的部分地区，其源头可追溯至5,000年前古典玛雅语的尤卡坦方言。对当地使用者来说，他们只称呼自己的语言为“玛雅语”（Maya 或 Maaya t'aan），而“尤卡坦”是语言学家为了将之与“玛雅语系”的称呼作区别而加上的。据统计，尤卡坦玛雅语在墨西哥及伯利兹分别有70万和5000名使用人口。尤卡坦玛雅语在现今的尤卡坦地区仍是主要语言，尤其是在乡村地区。
音系
尤卡坦玛雅语和其他许多玛雅语系语言的一项特征，是它们都有“挤喉音”：/p'/、/k'/，及 /t'/，也就是在发音之后会有一个喉塞音，使发音时会有一个短暂的停顿或小阻塞。这个音在书写时，是以一个在字母右边的省略符号表示，例如 k'ux k'a k'al。

尤卡坦玛雅语的塞音是不送气音，如同英文spill、skill、still等词中的塞音p、t、k。[1]

文法
尤卡坦玛雅语是一种胶着语，也因此在组合之下，一个词就可以变得非常长。尤卡坦玛雅语有大量的字根、前缀、后缀，及字缀。 就像所有玛雅语系的语言，尤卡坦玛雅语属于一种作格语言。
文字
现在用来书写尤卡坦玛雅语的文字是拉丁字母，在西班牙人征服尤卡坦的时候由西班牙人带入，使用的是当时旧式的西班牙语拼字法（例如以 "x" 代表英语里的后齿龈擦音 "sh"，此音后来在现在的西班牙语里变为拼成 "j" 的小舌擦音，除了一些拟古的拼法，如 "México"）。在殖民时期，还有一个倒"c" (ɔ)常用来代表现在拼成 "dz" 的音。在前哥伦布时期，尤卡坦玛雅语是以玛雅象形文字书写。
