始祖泳龙（属名：Archaeonectrus）是上龙亚目已灭绝的一个属，来自早侏罗世（锡内穆阶）的今英国东南部。模式种尖头始祖泳龙（Archaeonectrus [原为蛇颈龙] rostratus）由理查德·欧文（Richard Owen）爵士于1865年首次命名，后于1964年被N. I. Novozhilov移至自己的属。它是种较小型的蛇颈龙，身长估计为3.67米（12.0英尺）。[1]
