千层面,又名宽条面,是一种面食,特点是用多张宽如手帕的大面皮叠起来,内层夹上多种成分如起士、意式肉酱(素食版可用菠菜代替)、蔬菜,经焗制调味而成,顶层可覆盖碎起士。[1]烘制而成,然后切成二三寸见方的小块分食。水分非常大。意大利人一般称之为Lasagne (意大利语:[laˈzaɲɲe],单数形式Lasagna,意大利语:[laˈzaɲɲa]),此字源自希腊文Lasanon,后来被罗马人引申成煮食炉,意大利人再借用此字指千层面,有时亦会叫作Lasagne al forno(千层面在焗炉),多会配合莫札瑞拉起士、帕尔马森起士或利可他乳水起士,而且有许多食谱会加入白汁作为调味。
