北方翼龙科（Boreopteridae）是翼龙目的一科，化石发现于中国辽宁省的义县组，地质年代相当于白垩纪早期的阿普第阶[1]。
古生物学
[编辑]北方翼龙科的化石都发现于中国辽宁省的义县组，该地层过去是个多湖泊的地区，这些翼龙类生存于接邻淡水的环境。牠们可能飞行于水面上，用针状牙齿捕抓接近水面的鱼类[2]。某些现代鸟类也有类似的猎食模式。
许多鸟掌翼龙科的物种，可能也属于北方翼龙科[2]，举例而言，鹰翼龙（Aetodactylus）被发现非常类似北方翼龙[3]。
