Sosialisme liberal adalah filsafat politik sosialis yang menggabungkan prinsip liberal.[1] Sosialisme liberal tidak memiliki tujuan untuk secara menyeluruh menghapuskan kapitalisme dan menggantinya dengan sosialisme,[2] tapi justru mendukung ekonomi campuran yang mengikutsertakan kepemilikan pribadi dan kepemilikan sosial dalam barang modal[3][4] Meski sosialisme liberal secara tegas condong ke ekonomi berbasis pasar, sistem ini melihat monopoli resmi dan buatan sebagai kesalahan kapitalisme.[5] dan menentang ekonomi yang tidak diregulasi.[6] Sistem ini menganggap kebebasan dan kesetaraan sebagai hal yang sesuai dan bergantung satu sama lain.[1]
