阿僧祇 （ qí ） （梵語 ：asāṃkhya [1] 無數 、無央數 ，意為「不可計數的」、“多到沒有數目可以計算”，是一個佛教 数字詞，在古代對應數字為 10104 （現行則是1056 ）。加上其他單位可表更廣的含義，像阿僧祇劫 即指“無數劫 ”，在經文中出現如《妙法蓮華經 ·如來壽量品》：“我成佛已來，復過於此百 千 萬 億 那由他 阿僧祇劫 。自從是來，我常在此娑婆世界 說法教化。”
音譯字“阿僧祇”的中古音*a-song-khi、日語あそうぎ （asōgi）皆接近梵語音asāṃkhya 。前綴a-爲否定、非、不的意思，和拉丁文、英文an-、un-同源。सांख्य 轉寫爲sāṃkhya，又寫作sāṅkhya，意為“計數”（參見數論 ）。
