NGC 7250是一个位于蝎虎座不规则星系。该星系是明亮恒星大量且快速形成的蓝色星系,其恒星形成率超过银河系一个数量级[5]

2013年,天文学家在NGC 7250发现一颗Ia超新星,即SN 2013dy 。该超新星在爆炸后约2.4小时被侦测到,在当时是爆炸后最短时间内被侦测到的超新星[6]

NGC 7250在天球上的前景星为TYC 3203-450-1,目前对该恒星几乎没有相关研究。而该恒星与地球间的距离较NGC 7250近一百万倍[7]
