龙肚，是台湾高雄市美浓区的一个传统地域名称，位于该区西北部。相较于今日行政区，其范围大致包龙肚里、狮山里不含南部凸出部分、龙山里不含西北端凸出部分、广林里西南部凸出部分的东半部。[1][2][3][4]
历史
台湾日治初期，龙肚地区为一街庄，称为“龙肚庄”，隶属于港西上里。该庄北与竹头角庄为邻，东与新威庄为邻，东南边隔荖浓溪与旧藔庄为界，西南边为吉洋庄，西边为中坛庄。[1]
1901年（日治明治三十四年）11月，全台设置二十厅，该庄隶属于蕃薯藔厅。1903年（明治三十六年）6月，该庄编入“龙肚区”，隶属于蕃薯藔厅。1909年（明治四十二年）10月，合并二十厅为十二厅，龙肚区改隶属于阿缑厅。1920年（大正九年），废十二厅改设五州二厅，该庄改制为“龙肚”大字，隶属于高雄州旗山郡美浓街。[5]
战后美浓街改制为美浓镇，隶属于高雄县，大字亦改制为里。1950年高、屏分治，美浓镇仍隶属于高雄县。2010年12月25日，因高雄县市合并，美浓镇改制高雄市美浓区。
聚落
本地区发展较早的聚落有龙肚、龙阙、河边藔、横山、竹仔门、上坑仔等，在日治期初期的官方地图上已有记载。[1]
