高潮 (叙事)

莎士比亚戏剧《凯撒大帝》中的凯萨之死桥段是个众所周知的高潮。

高潮(climax)或转折点(turning point)是叙事作品中紧张局势的最高点或戏剧结局情节的开始[1][2]。climax的词源为希腊语“κλῖμαξ”(拉丁转写klimax),意思是“楼梯”、“梯子”。

小说

在散文小说作品,高潮往往像是古典喜剧,发生在文本或表演接近尾声之时。

高潮包括三个要素。最重要的因素是,主角经历变革。第二是主要角色发现一些关于自己和其他未知角色的事情。最后一个因素是揭示主题本身。
