田町为台湾日治时期台南州台南市之行政区。范围包括清代旧街名牛磨后。

名称

1916年（大正5年）规划町名改正时，原拟名“泥江町”，台南厅曾考虑“汐见町”等名，但最后改为以“田町”呈报总督府[1]，同年11月3日公告[2]、1919年（大正8年）4月1日正式实施[3]。

原订名的“汐见町”，系当时此地多为鱼塭。汐见町之名则在1941年，另外命名台南市南边之新社区，详见水交社 (台南市)。
