气缸（cylinder）是指在内燃机或是外燃机中，让活塞居于其内，允许其上下往复的容器。中国大陆称气缸，香港称为氣缸，而台湾称为汽缸。
在多气缸引擎中，通常气缸会并列排成一排，这称之为气缸排（bank），好比说V型排列的引擎就由两组气缸排呈V字形所构成。而多个或一个气缸排则构成了气缸本体（cylinder block）。
