固有加速度

在1g固有加速度下行进一年时,地图观察者与旅行观察者的时空观。
以固定加速度做往返旅程,旅行观察者的时空观。

相对论中,固有加速度[1]为一加速物体实质感受到的加速度(亦即可透过加速规测量到的加速度)。这是与加速物体瞬时间呈相对静止的自由落下观察者或惯性系观察者所测到加速度。重力场不造成任何固有加速度,因为惯性系在重力场存在时呈现自由落体,该惯性系感受或测量不到任何固有加速度(失重现象)。因此有个系理为:所有惯性观察者,其固有加速度必为零。

固有加速度与座标加速度不同。座标加速度与座标系的选择有关,也与观察者的选择有关(参见狭义相对论中的三维加速度。)
