参宿增一 (Sigma Orionis)Sigma Ori (σ Orionis, σ Ori)是在猎户座内距离地球大约1150光年的一个五合星系统。

主要的成员是联星的参宿增一A和参宿增一B,这两颗星相距0.25弧秒。两这都是年龄只有数百万年,仍在进行氢融合的矮星。较亮的一颗,参宿增一A,是蓝色的O型恒星,视星等+4.2等。参宿增一B是B型恒星,视星等+5.1等。这一对户转的轨道周期是170年,距离大约90天文单位。A和B的表面都很热,大约分别是32,000K和29,600K,辐射的光度是太阳的 35,000和30,000倍。由温度和亮度推算的质量是18和13.5太阳质量,使非常靠近的A与B成为质量最大的目视联星。

接下来最亮的是系统内的参宿增一D和参宿增一E,和AB对的距离分别是4,600天文单位和15,000天文单位。两者的质量都是7太阳质量的B型矮星,视星等分别是6.62等和6.66等。参宿增一E是奇特的氦富星,是显著有着大量氦的原型星。

这个系统内最后一颗恒星是参宿增一C,光谱是A型矮星。参宿增一C与AB对的距离大约是3,900天文单位。AB对的轨道是稳定的,但其余三颗则不是,在它们漫长的生命结束之前,引力作用可能就会加速它们和强迫它们离开这个系统。
