刘嘉遇
刘嘉遇（1578年—1633年），字时隆，号鼎衡，山东东昌府临清州丘县人，明朝政治人物。
生平
[编辑]刘嘉遇是万历三十一年（1603年）癸卯科举人，万历四十一年（1613年）癸丑科进士，出任偃师县知县，释放被冤枉的三十多人。升任户部主事，请求外任看望父母，很快父亲就去世了；服阕后补任兵部武库司主事，监督山海关军需及查催天津卫船只，屡有勋绩。升官本部职方司员外郎未任，转升职方协理清册郎中。
崔呈秀夺情为兵部尚书，刘嘉遇说：“不祥之身，怎可以突然升任枢密！”令对方愤恨，但他怡然而处，适逢明熹宗驾崩得免祸。崇祯四年（1631年）他任职陕西参政，升为山东按察使[1]；五年（1632年）五月却降为山西副使，怀隆兵备道[2][3]。次年去世，年五十六。
