值
在数学中，值（value）或数值可能指几个密切相关的概念。最常见的用法就是用具体的数目表示一个数的多少。[1][注 1] 值一般而言是数值的简称。[2]
一般而言，数学中所指的值是可以被确定的数学对象（这意味着值不一定是“数”值，可能是其他数学对象）。 在初等数学中，值通常是一个数。举例来说，一个实数的值，如圆周率的值约为3.14159、或者一个整数，如42是一个值。值也可以视为一个数的一种属性，例如圆周率这个数，其具有属性“值”，约为3.14159。
变数、常数、数学表达式或其他数学对象都可以存在值。 然而有些数学表达式的值无法被确定或者有争议，例如0的0次方和除以零的相关表达式，这些表达式通常称为不定式[3]、 或者计算极限时左极限不等于右极限的函数值，也无法确定其值，这些数学对象通常称为未定义点或奇点。[4][5][6]
