0的0次方(英语:Zero to the power of zero),写作,是极限的不定式之一,在排列组合以及群论中,常用的惯例是定义为1[注 1],在微积分中则通常没有定义,因为极限不存在。而在不同的计算机程序语言中,的表达式也并不相同;如C++将定义为1。

许多涉及自然数指数的常用公式中必须将定义为1;例如,下列三个关于的解释使b=0的意义与正整数b相同:

  • 解释为空乘积
  • 组合解释为b元素集合中元素 0 元组的数量;而集合中正好有一个0元组
  • 的集合论解释为从空集合到 b 元素集合函数数量; 这样的函数只有一个,就是空函数。
