Aziz Sancar (lahir 8 September 1946) ialah ahli biokimia dan ahli biologi molekul Turki-Amerika yang mengkhusus dalam pembaikan DNA, pusat pemeriksaan kitaran sel, dan jam sirkadian.[4] Pada tahun 2015, beliau dianugerahkan Hadiah Nobel dalam Kimia bersama Tomas Lindahl dan Paul L. Modrich untuk kajian mekanistik mereka mengenai pembaikan DNA.[5][6] Beliau telah memberi sumbangan kepada pembaikan fotolisia dan nukleotida dalam bakteria yang telah mengubah bidangnya.

Sancar kini ialah Profesor Biokimia dan Biofizik Sarah Graham Kenan di Sekolah Perubatan Universiti North Carolina dan ahli Pusat Kanser Komprehensif UNC Lineberger.[7] Beliau ialah pengasas bersama Yayasan Aziz & Gwen Sancar, yang merupakan organisasi bukan keuntungan untuk mempromosikan budaya Turki dan menyokong pelajar Turki di Amerika Syarikat.
