[തിരുത്തുക]പെരേര 2007ൽ മിസ് അംഗോളയായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു[4] കൂടാതെ മിസ് യൂണിവേഴ്സ് 2008ൽ തന്റെ രാജ്യത്തെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ചു.[5] മിസ്സ് യൂണിവേഴ്സ് ജേതാവായ ലീല ലോപ്സിനൊപ്പം പെരേരയും പോർച്ചുഗീസ് ടിവി ഷോ പ്രോഗ്രാമാ ഡോ ജോയിൽ അഭിമുഖം നടത്തി.[6]
ക്സുക്സ മെനെഗൽ ചിത്രമായ സക്സ ഇൻ ദി മിസ്റ്ററി ഓഫ് ഫെയൂറിൻഹയിലെ ഒരു വേഷത്തിന് എറിക്ക ചിസ്സപ്പക്കെതിരെ അവർ ഓഡിഷൻ നടത്തി. ഒടുവിൽ 2010 ജനുവരിയിൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഫഡോണയുടെ വേഷം അവർക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു. ഈ ചിത്രം വാണിജ്യപരമായി വിജയിക്കുകയും അംഗോളയിൽ അവതാറിനെക്കാൾ കൂടുതൽ വിറ്റഴിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[7]
2013–2015: Njinga: Queen of Angola
[തിരുത്തുക]2014 ലെ ചരിത്ര സിനിമയായ Njinga: Queen Of Angola എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ പെരേരയുടെ വേഷം അവരെ കൂടുതൽ ശ്രദ്ധ പിടിച്ചുപറ്റി. കൊളോണിയൽ യജമാനന്മാരുമായി ഒരു അംഗോളൻ രാജ്ഞി എങ്ങനെ എതിർ സ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ വഹിച്ചു എന്നതിന്റെ കഥയാണ് ചിത്രം പറയുന്നത്.[8] ലണ്ടൻ ഉൾപ്പെടെ നിരവധി രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ ചിത്രം പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഫിലിം ആഫ്രിക്കയുടെ ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റിവൽ സമയത്ത്, സിനിമയ്ക്കായി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട ടിക്കറ്റുകളുടെ എണ്ണം ലഭ്യമായ സീറ്റുകളേക്കാൾ വളരെ കൂടുതലാണ്. സിനിമയുടെ കാഴ്ചക്കാരെ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാൻ സംഘാടകർക്ക് ഒരു വലിയ മുറിയിലേക്ക് മാറേണ്ടി വന്നു.[2]
ഈ ചിത്രം വാണിജ്യപരമായി വിജയിക്കുക മാത്രമല്ല, 11-ാമത് ആഫ്രിക്ക മൂവി അക്കാദമി അവാർഡിൽ മികച്ച നടി ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള അവാർഡുകൾ നേടുകയും ചെയ്തു.[9][10]
