ഹോൺബിൽ കുടുംബത്തിലെ ഒരു വലിയ പക്ഷിയാണ് ഹെൽമറ്റെഡ് ഹോൺബിൽ(Rhinoplax vigil). മലയ് പെനിൻസുല, സുമാത്ര, ബോർണിയോ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഇതിനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.[2] കാസ്ക് (തലയിലെ ഹെൽമെറ്റ് പോലുള്ള ഘടന) അതിന്റെ 3 കിലോ ഭാരത്തിന്റെ 11% വരും. മറ്റേതൊരു ഹോൺബില്ലിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായി, കാസ്ക് ഏതാണ്ട് ദൃഢമാണ്. ഇത് ആൺപക്ഷികൾക്കിടയിൽ തമ്മിൽത്തല്ലിനിടയിൽ തലകളുപയോഗിച്ച് പോരാടുന്നതിന് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.[2] ഒരു വലിയ ഹെൽമെറ്റ് ഹോൺബിൽ ജീവിതത്തിനും മരണത്തിനുമിടയിലുള്ള നദിയിൽ കാവൽ നിൽക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് പുനാൻ ബഹയിലെ ഒരു വിശ്വാസമാണ്.[3]
