주머니고양이목(Dasyuromorphia)은 대부분의 스펙클주머니고양이, 태즈메이니아주머니늑대 등과 같은 육식성 유대류가 포함되어있다.[1] 총 3과를 가지고 있는데, 주머니개미핥기과는 단 하나의 종만 있으며, 주머니늑대과는 최근에 멸종되었고, 주머니고양이과는 약 70개종을 가지고 있다.
