Ekai Kawaguchi (河口慧海, Kawaguchi Ekai) (26 Februari 1866 – 24 Februari 1945) adalah seorang biksu Buddha Jepang. Ia dikenal karena empat perjalanannya ke Nepal (pada 1899, 1903, 1905 dan 1913), dan dua perjalanan ke Tibet (4 Juli 1900–15 Juni 1902, 1913–1915), yang menjadikannya warga negara Jepang yang pertama kali tercatat yang berkunjung ke kedua negara tersebut.[1][2]
