Anjing yang Nakal (disini disebut 'anjing yang menggigit') dalam Phryx Aesopus Habitu Poetico karya Hieronimus Osius, 1574

Anjing yang Nakal adalah salah satu Fabel Aesop, di mana terdapat versi Yunani karya Babrius dan versi Latin karya Avianus. Cerita tersebut diberi nomor 332 dalam Perry Index.[1] Cerita tersebut berkisah tentang seekor anjing yang menggigit kaki orang. Sehingga, pemiliknya mengikatkan lonceng di lehernya untuk memperingatkan orang. Berpikir bahwa lonceng tersebut adalah penghargaan, anjing tersebut memamerkannya di jalan raya sampai seekor anjing tua mengingatkannya bahwa lonceng tersebut bukanlah penghargaan namun tanda bahaya. Para penyunting Victorian dari fabel tersebut memberikan pesan moral bahwa 'perhatian sering kali disalahartikan sebagai ketenaran'.[2]
