Pyrola chlorantha ye una especie de la familia de les ericácees.

Descripción

Tallo d'hasta 30 cm, de fueyes oblongo-ovaes, de dientes arrondaos, verde pálidu percima, escuru per debaxo; peciolu más llargu que la llámina. Flores verdeamarillentas, llargamente acampanaes, de 8-12 mm de diámetru, nuna inflorescencia espiciforme terminal. Estilu más llargu que los pétalos, curvos. Floria a final de primavera y pel branu.[1]

Pyrola chlorantha describióse por Peter Olof Swartz y espublizóse en Kongl. Vetenskaps Academiens Nya Handlingar 31(3): 190–198, pl. 5. 1810. [2]

Etimoloxía

Pyrola: nome xenéricu que remanez del llatín y significa "pequeña pera", en referencia a la forma de les sos fueyes.[3]

chlorantha: epítetu llatín que significa "con flores verdes".[4]
